Appendix: Lab Prerequisites

This appendix compiles the setup each layer assumes, taken directly from the Preconditions field of its cases. It is a starting checklist, not an exhaustive build guide. Where a layer shows several variants, the first is the standard setup and the others are extra setup needed only by the listed cases.
