Safety boundary. All test cases in this layer use synthetic, non-functional or clearly marked test data only. Card numbers must come from published test ranges; keys, identifiers and records must be fabricated.

Verify before use. MITRE ATLAS, OWASP LLM and NIST AI RMF identifiers must be checked against the current published versions. Numeric thresholds are starting values to tune. See the Reference Index for field definitions and applicability codes.

Risk Addressed. Assistants gather context automatically from open files, neighbouring files and indexes, so secrets and restricted files are sent without the developer choosing to share them.

Business Scenario. Security wants named paths and file types (environment files, key material, restricted modules) never used as assistant context.

Technical Scenario. Configure exclusions, then use completion and chat in a workspace that contains excluded files and inspect what context leaves the workstation.
